The parallel dreams of Luis Alejandro Sánchez Abaroa, Rigoberto Tapia Fong founders of the group and Emmanuel de Jesús Orozco Meza give rise to the musical proposal that we now know as Los Originales De La Baja, a group that have become known for their adaptation progressive to country music.

Biography

The musical roots of Los Originales De La Baja were fostered on top of the local Baja California Sur stages. The parallel dreams of Luis Alejandro Sánchez Abaroa, Rigoberto Tapia Fong founders of the group and Emmanuel de Jesús Orozco Meza give rise to the musical proposal that we now know as Los Originales De La Baja, a group that have become known for their adaptation progressive to country music.

The musical principles of the members of the group began from an early age. Abaroa, for his part, started at the age of nine, his father was the one who helped him discover his talent with the pen and guided him to compose his first songs. Currently, he is the one who composes most of the songs of the group. The restlessness for music knocked on Ricardo’s door when he was ten years old and his source of inspiration was his father. Emmanuel de Jesús Orozco Meza, comes from musical descent, like his companions, his father played a leading role in his preparation as a musician. Emmanuel’s first encounter with music was in the church choir, and soon after, his interest in guitar and electric bass was aroused. The musical trajectory of these musicians began in similar directions and it was destiny that brought them together to create their own space within the musical field.

“La Green House”, a title in honor of his friend Pachon to whom they dedicate this corrido, includes corridos, ballads and also covers adapted to the style of the group.
