Elijah Blue Molina (born October 15, 1987), better known by his stage name Scoop DeVille, is an American record producer, rapper and DJ. DeVille has produced records for several prominent rappers, such as Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe, among several others. He is perhaps best known for producing rapper Snoop Dogg’s “I Wanna Rock”, as well as Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice”, both of which charted in the top 50 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Scoop DeVille was born in Los Angeles and is the son of rap pioneer, Kid Frost, a veteran rapper and founding member of super group Latin Alliance. Scoop appeared in his father’s arms for his first music video, “La Raza”, at the ripe age of three. Raised in a musical family, DeVille started rapping at the age of two, writing music at age nine, and produced his first hit single “Mamacita” by Baby Bash featuring Marcos Hernandez at age fifteen.

DeVille has produced songs such as “The Recipe” by Kendrick Lamar featuring Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar ‘Poetic Justice’ Ft. Drake, Snoop Dogg ‘I Wanna Rock’ ft. Jay Z , “Wait Until Tonight” by 50 Cent, “(Haha) Slow Down” by Fat Joe featuring Young Jeezy , Busta Rhymes ‘Calm Down’ ft. Eminem.

Adidas featured DeVille in the 2013 Los Angeles Lakers “all in for l.a.” advertising campaign, alongside Dwight Howard, George Lopez, B-real and several other celebrities., 2013 he released Scoopaloops, Vol. I. The lead single, “Losing My Religion” featuring Travis Barker was premiered on Los Angeles Radio Station KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Morning show. In 2014, DeVille was nominated for a Grammy in the categories of “Best Rap Album” and “Album Of The Year” for his production on Kendrick Lamar’s major-label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city
